Introduction

After 23 years in tree management and conservation as a tree surgeon, Arboricultural Officer and for the last 13 years as Head Ranger of a country park, I am now working as a self-employed Ranger providing countryside management services to land owners both large and small on properties in both the public and private sector.

The varied skills I have gained are being put to good use helping organisations and individuals on a tight budget who cannot afford to employ a permanent staff, but still consider it important to manage their sites appropriately for the benefit of wildlife and quiet recreation.

By careful time management I am able to provide a flexible service to suit my clients; this may be regular weekly visits, seasonal tasks, occasional help or completing projects both large and small.
